It is early in the morning. The streets of Ho Chi Minh City are already filled with people. Some of them carry bamboo cages; down at the park, it’s time for their birds to socialise. Thanks to their thoughtful owners, the solitary songbirds of the neighbourhood gather around and share the news of the day. Not free, but chirpy.
